I adopted a 2 year old pitbull.....everyone was nice...the process was smooth....and the dog was up to date on all shots and they gave my family a certificate to go to the vet within 14 days for free.....

If it wasn't for PHS, I would not have met my best friend and road-trip buddy. I adopted Iggy in 2012 and since then, Iggy has been the highlight of my days! If you are planning to adopt a pet, PLEASE take the adoption seriously! Having a pet is a big responsibility. Any pet you decide to adopt deserves the best treatment. If you know you won't be capable of providing the best for the pet you have may adopt, then let someone else do so. Thank you PUS for all the work you do. Here are some pics of Iggy. I often just go to the Pasadena Humane society to look at and pet the dogs and puppies, even though we're not supposed to pet them. You have to be careful too because even though some are located in a non quarantined section some dogs can still be mean. So be careful and don't just let your kids just stick their hand in the cage.
