I’m an American who was trained by a Hyderabadi mother on South Indian cuisine. I’m passionate about Indian food of all kinds, I cook it regularly, and I eat at Indian restaurants all over the world. In general, Thailand has great Indian food with a lot of variety that service both the many travelers who come here from everywhere and Indian people who live and visit here as well. So the standard for Indian cuisine is high. Panchwati is a great restaurant in that high caliber mix. It’s a small business, and they are informal, so come and enjoy a cordial time with them, try new things, don’t freak out if what you wanted isn’t available that day or at that time, which is something they clearly state on their menu and website. Ask for a recommendation, try something new. They get customers from all over the world, including from cultures that don’t smile at each other all the time, so don’t be quick to judge. My wife and I stayed near the North end of Pattaya and this Indian restaurant was closest to us. We’ve gone almost every night, and I’m a snob about Indian food. They do great work.

This place deserves a detailed reviewing. Visited this restaurant only because of the reviews on Google maps. We were doubtful the moment we saw the restaurant , because of its narrow entrance and small setup when compared to the photos. Few tables are setup in beautiful fashion . Theres a small washroom and toilet. The entire setup was kept clean. Best part was their attitude towards customers and cleanliness. Tried chicken Manchurian , veg thali , butter chicken and masala tea. All the items were superb in terms of taste and presentation. Butter nan and chicken Manchurian were outstanding. The pickles , curd and accessories were good. The owner came later and had conversation. Very professional and customer friendly. And compared to other similar establishments in Thailand , this one was cheaper too. Definitely recommended for an Indian meal. Menu was diverse with almost all Indian cuisine. Though there are few minor negatives. The washroom was narrow , and cleaning items were kept unorganized , and the kitchen was visible from washroom which was not very neatly kept. Most of the cooks were Thai woman and they are doing a great job cooking Indian cuisine. Go for it. Worth a try
A must visit place for the people who stay in north pattaya , just opposite dusit thani and near to terminal 21 mall. Luckybhai and the staff are so good and welcome with smile. Excellent Tea, paratha, thali with reasonable price. Good options in the menu like poha , khichdi etc..
We had a long day and wanted a good meal to fill in our tummies. This place serves Indian food in Indian tastes. You will have options of all Indian cuisine the famous ones which you can fill yourself with. It is decently priced. The owner, as well as the chef, understands Hindi so it easy to communicate what flavors you like and they can cook accordingly.
Very nice Indian restaurant with good food. The owner takes personal care of everyone. Taste is good and portion size is bigger. The owner also helped us plan our local sight seeing trip at reasonable rates. We dined everyday there while in Pattaya. Good staff. Pl keep up the good work
