My second time here in 2 months...the first time I didn't leave a review, but after coming in for another maintenance check I wanted to leave a stellar review of this business. All the employees are exceptional and friendly, especially Jake. I know virtually nothing about auto repair and they took care of me and my ride. Price is good and service too!

Went to get my safety check, just had to pull up and didn't have to wait at all.

We’ve been taking our vehicles here for many years and always get excellent service with great prices! The owner is a very honest person!!

Called today after my car broke down to see when/if they could take my car to have it looked at and if they service jeeps. I was asked if my car was bought in Hawai'i or mainland, where i lived on O'ahu, and if i was a “student.” I’m a 33 year old nurse (not a student) and I don’t see how any of these questions i was asked had anything to do with me paying money to see if they can fix my car. I felt that i was being profiled over the phone. I would not recommend this place and was extremely disappointed in the conversation i had with this repair shop in my neighborhood.

Horrible experience! Extremely unprofessional! I walked in for a safety check there were no cars in front me in line. I was asked to come back an hour later because the inspector is working on fixing a car. I drive back there 40 minutes later to be early for my inspection. I wait there for a long time and I’m treated as if they’re doing me a favor and then the inspector shows up unprofessional, no uniform, and then jumps in-front me in line and does a safety for his own car and starts taking pictures.. etc. Then they call me to the line and I’m still being patient then he says buy two new tires so you can pass the safety! So I say thank you for being professional and I leave. I hope the owner sees this and sets his employees straight I was waiting for 60-90 minutes in the hot sun to get my service which I would pay them for. Definitely don’t recommend it and won’t step foot in there again. There are many other places that do safety checks and practice professionalism. Don’t waste your time! Aloha!

Great last minute service just before closing on a holiday eve. My battery was dead. I replaced it in the morning. Later in the day I noticed that my break lights were on even when my car was not running. Didn’t want my new battery to die. It was 4:20 on July 3rd. Yikes. I searched for mechanics close by and gave Palolo Auto Service a call. The gentleman I spoke to said he could help. I rushed over. 15 and 10 minutes later my break signal switch was replace and problem solved!
