Absolutely faultless service! The best car I have ever hired. We were kindly upgraded to a Volvo V40 diesel auto. Super smooth, clean and damage free... the car had been delivered that morning with only 17km done! The pick up and return was so easy and the deposit was back with me the very next day! Thank you SIXT for making my holiday a one to remember!
Sixt did me Sing a paper after i clearly said in verbal that i dont want any extras. They made It looks like part of the amount of Money for the caition and made me sign letting me think that ir was Just the caution that i would Receive Back after the Rental Period. But then they took me Money with the Argument that i askes for this extras there até the Airport and i signed ir. I was clear and said no extras Just the Same contract as i reserved online. But ofcourse they took me Money from my credit card with this trick. Im telling all my Friends and Family do NOT TAKE A RENTAL CAR AT SIXT. THEY ARE A TOTAL FRAUDE!
Car broke down 15km outside of the airport. Spent 3 hours on the side of route N165. After about a dozen calls and much uncertainty Sixt arranged for another car through Europcar, but charged full rental, with no compensation for the delay. They are currently trying to claim that we broke the transmission. How do you break an automatic transmission placed in drive mode? Luckily I had two fellow travelers with me as witnesses. I'm a regular car renter. This was my first and last time using Sixt.
The Staff at Nantes are Super friendly and extremely helpful
BEWARE! Sixt refused to rent car despite having confirmed reservation, then refused to refund prepaid fees. Reason given: United States drivers licenses do not show when the driver received a drivers license for the very first time. (French license have a \secondary paper counterpart license\ which has this information. U.S. licenses do not.) To date, Sixt has refused to refund any portion of the rental fee they collected for the reservation. No car, and out several hundred dollars. plus list time and additional costs to rent from Avis, which did very well. SIXT IS A RIP-OFF!
