There is a little room for improvements but the overall score can't be less than five. Very well maintained place, excelent food, good music, nice waiters, all things fiscalised, all the rules respected. Some ramps near stairs, refrigerators in the rooms and confortable chairs in balconies would increase the score to six.

Great place to stay in Mahmudia. It’s nice that you can get there by car and then take trips in the Danube Delta. The food was very tasty.
I highly recommend Orizont in Mahmudia. They brilliantly cover everything one may need to accommodate a great visit to the Danube Delta. I may start with the fact that you can reach the place by car, is 30km from the city of Tulcea. The complex is at the base of the Hercinici mts., which give a great view overall. The rooms give you the space you need to relax, access to a porch where you can seat at a table and feast your eyes with a the beautiful scenery of the Danube Delta. They have a restaurant with traditional food, really tasty and quite diverse. The pool with the water slides will add an extra vibe, in my view a perfect place for kids to shake of the extra energy. Also, they organise trips in the heart of the Delta (up to 3 different trips), on the canals and the lakes where one can admire the flora and the fauna which are as unique as described in all literature. The village is not that full of options, apart from the local architecture with traditional reed roofs and mural paintings here and there. Bikes can be rented at the complex. The Delta will definitely leave a mark that will always bring good memories and wide smiles, enjoy the uniqueness of the nature, capture the moment and take your time.

very pleasant location. swimming pool, very good food, friendly staff, lady at the frendly reception. trips can be made on the Danube by boat (the cost is 100 ron / person and 50 ron / child). a very good location for children ..
