A museum as it should be. Great for the kids, including an interactive iPad. English, Dutch and French guides (iPad, folder) are provided.

Super cool adventure for all, elder and youngsters. Time travel experience.
A really good museum detailing the long and rich history of the Liege Area. Museum is tucked away on Place St Lambert. It is very affordable and the iPad makes everything easy to understand. Museum is free on Weekends but without iPad. Museum has many artifacts with English descriptions. Staff are friendly and are able to answer any questions you have. Recommend
The best thing to visit in town, what’s already been excavated is amazing, what’s left to be excavated (although money unlikely any time soon) staggering. The helpful guidance of the lighting scheme shows how many versions of the town existed and the construction and plaza above the exhibit continues the them by charting the blueprint of the vanished cathedral. Onsite staff was helpful and explained how to have the best experience in rich detail.
I went alone and thoroughly enjoyed myself. 6 was amongst the cheapest museum I visited. Definitely a learning tour without a lot of flashy exhibits but extremely interesting when you actual learn and realize what you’re looking at.
A tour is possible in 4 languages: English, French, German and Dutch. You can choose to do this with an iPad or with a booklet. It's really interesting!
If you like history then this place is for you really happy to visit this place
9000 years of history in one site is probably unique in Belgium. A visit of around an hour.
