Good place for a beer, decent music(that's rock for you who think otherwise) got a pool table and have football on view(oh well can't be perfect)

Went to pub because of reviews that it was family friendly. It was a low key Wednesday night with a total of four other customers. Ordered a beer and sent kids of to play pool. Got yelled at by bar attendant and told we could n stay unless we ordered 4 drinks. Not sure what we would have gotten for the kids. Beer? We then acquiesced by sending kids back to hotel and I was still berated for only ordering one 9 percent beer to share worth my spouse. Generally love Belgium but this was the worst pub experience I have had in Belgium in the last 15 years. So many pubs within a couple of blocks that I would give this one a pass.

What a lovely place to visit. A wide selection of drinks from around the world, an exceptional Belgian range too. There pub is decorated in WW1 memorabilia and paintings that add to the character of the pub. There's a smoking room for those require it, three pool tables (could be snooker or billiards for all I know) and good music. Well worth a visit. Note it is a cash only bar.
