This establishment is THE only game in town when it comes to gold bullion. They are in downtown where there are many unsavory characters so they are nit overly friendly. In fact, until they knew I had money and meant to buy something they ignored me during my first visit in 2015. Since then their availability has allowed this woman of modest means a chance to create a small cache of coins in my safety deposit box. Whenever I am in the area it is easy to take 20 and buy a silver one ounce coin. You can diversify your savings BC they almost always have the silver or gold coin you want. Do NOT trust the TV commercials for gold/silver. IF their products are real they are overpriced. Authenticity is never an issue here. This family run business keeps inventory at the store which makes them different from pawn shops which always require an appointment in order for them to bring gold in. The staff won't educate you on your best options; you have to get the info yourself. They won't allow you to return a purchase. You have to sell it back to them so you take a loss on returns. You might be able to get a better deal from pawn shops if you are selling. What is most important is, when I go there, I know they will have available, authentic product on hand, and I know they are able to buy if I need to sell something. It is common to see coins people purchased from the TV advertised coin dealers in their shop. On the mainland a place like this would have a guard and bullet proof glass. I suspect the only people who know about it (and the inventory) are those who are into buying gold and silver. Even though the neighborhood is questionable, there are no characters lurking about, waiting to rob customers. However, I for one, exit the area with my purchase straight away. Overall I am grateful for the existence of a coin dealer who has helped me upgrade the hard won savings I have.

Worst place on the island. I walked in and the Lady who helped me was rude and treated me like a thief. Her behaviour toward shocked me and scared my emotional support animal. She closed coin books gave me attitude and her dog was growling at me while she just called the dog like it's going to happen. I was rushed and felt misjudged. I was conned into selling my 1971 dollar Kennedy made with 90% real silver to the woman. I went elsewhere to find out that coin was worth 193.54. I will never go there again to such unprofessional people. My other coins she had manhandled like trash all had spelling errors and were rare. I will not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
