Wish it was fully open but had great time looking at outside. Was very disappointed that nowhere on post you could buy anything for a child that had Fort Sill or cross cannons. Couldn't even find a cross cannon license plate. Nice job, who ever is in charge of that!

Do more tha the museum. Drive around to see the original buildings and the chapel, built in 1875.

We were planning on visiting on Saturday because the site says opens until 5pm. When we were entering the security gate we were told that we need to get a pass at the visitor center which is about 5 min drive. There was no sign or any information about getting a pass if you are not in a military. It took us 20 min to get a pass because of the line and when we entered the base the google map took us to the administration office. We finally found the building and then realized it was closed due to labor holiday. It is a pity not able to see inside but we did enjoy the ride in the base and taking pictures outside the building.

This was my third time there since 1988. I am always seeing something I missed the last time. Helpful courteous staff. Clean grounds.
