Great supporter of local events - they love to hang up posters for anything that’s happening in town. Soup is good too! It’s self serve but the patio is great in the warmer months. Lines build around noon but they move fairly quickly and the staff are always friendly! Highly recommend, Amazing

I'm from Edmonton & I come up to Fort McMurray 4-5 times a year. Mitchell's Cafe is always a must stop for a breakfast, lunch, baking good or a great coffee/smoothie. Friendly staff & fresh ingredients, I have never been disappointed! Keep up the solid establishment & I recommend this to anyone, support family ran & local!

Amazing of everything! From sandwiches, coffee and desserts- this place is a must in Fort Mcmurray. My favourites were the pesto chicken sandwich on Sunshine bread and the turkey cranberry chutney. Their breakfast sandwich is to die for too. You can also find good roasted coffee beans from Monogram (Calgary) to other good boutique brand. Definitively for coffee connaisseur, they have specialty coffee equipments. Their cookies and scones are amazing- freshly baked on the spot.

It took me too long to find this Fort McMurray gem. If you need a quick lunch or a great coffee and a treat, this long time local favourite can’t be beat. Really good and creative sandwiches made using Mitchell’s “Sunshine” bread. They do their baking in-house. Owen has taken this approach towards almost all the food they create.
Best Sandwich Shop I've ever been to, been eating the Cranberry Turkey Sandwich for over 10 years, it hasn't changed and is AMAZING. Breakfast sandwiches may lead to early morning nap. Everything is so so good. MmmmmmMitchell's.
Amazing food. I travel to Fort McMurray frequently for work and I always have to stop in for a soup and sandwich on their homemade Sunshine bread!
