Perfect little camp site, with clean shower & Toilets. Despite the bad reviews for food we couldn’t Fault it at all!! 5 discount Voucher per night to be spent on food/drinks! 20 per night camping and I really cannot Fault it. At all. Will 110% be coming back in the coming weeks. Staff were also very very friendly, and even delivered food to the tent! 10/10 from all us!! Hope the new owners manage to keep it going as it’s a lovely place! Please do look past the bad reviews!!! Very child friendly !!! And dog friendly

Have spent a few nights camping in the field behind the pub. It's a back to basics camp site .It has a clean shower / toilet block. The staff were very friendly and welcoming on our arrival. Had a lovely meal and superb pint of Guinness. Would recommend for a quite out of the way camp. Will be back again. Thank you Lou and Drew .

The Dotterel Inn is one hidden gem we arrived at the camp site and was met by a lovely gentleman (Carl) who showed us the ropes and said children/dogs are more than welcome in the pub. We set up camp had tea then went for a night cap in the Dotterel we was met with a warm welcome from again Carl & his wife Julie what a lovely couple couldn’t do enough for you they asked if we had settled in OK and said if you need anything just give us a call they couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. Whilst we were staying there it was my friend’s daughter’s birthday which happened to be on a Sunday (so we booked in for Sunday lunch). Food was amazing I would recommend this pub to anyone. The quality and quantity was superb still made room for pudding though. We asked if it was OK to put some b/day banners up and bring a cake not only did they say yes but they decorated an area for her which she loved. This gem of a pub/restaurant is certainly family and dog friendly. Food is served from 12 noon to 8 pm we will certainly be back.

Great food and very reasonable prices. I had the biggest burger they did with 2 other main meals a kids meal and a sharer starter. We all had drinks and it came to just over 50. Everything tasted fantastic

Stopped here on the way back to Wykeham from Bridlington for a quick drink and a snack. We ordered the combo for 2 starter and a couple of drinks. The food was great and the chicken nuggets we got with it were identical to McDonald's nuggets. Overall I'd recommend the pub, nice food, decent drink selection and nice friendly staff.

Went for a 3 day stay in our tent on their site. We lasted 1 night. We got up the first morning to no power. No one around to speak untill 12pm when the pub opens. When it finally opened I went and asked if the electric would be back on the same day. They said not sure. The toilet block was filthy had to paddle through. The showe had a broken window next to it so people visiting the pub or on site can see you get in and out of the shower. I feel I would have had more help and support in a field out in the middle of no were.
