Food is generally good to great. Their Sichuan style is done much better than other dishes. Overall a little on the salty side. We've had some great experiences here. Sadly, Hot King made a mess of our Chinese New Years order. Bad/contradicting communication with in the end no delivery. We had to last minute improvise a meal for the kids late in the evening. So yeah, food is pretty good but the restaurant turns out to be not dependable. Such a shame.

If you're looking for traditional Sichuan food, this is the place to go to. Located in The Hague's Chinatown district it offers a wide range of dishes that haven't been watered down to accommodate the western palate. We had cold belly pork and pig ear as a starter. Some springrolls to follow up and then dove into the traditional Sichuan chilli oil dishes. A word to the wise: main dishes are portioned for about 3 people and meant to be shared!
This restaurant was really good! Nice decor / atmosphere. Went with my boyfriend for a late lunch on a Friday and it was super empty. The food was AMAZING though. We got steamed dumplings to start and then the hot plate beef tenderloin with black pepper sauce and the dry stir-fried chicken with chilis and an order of white rice. There was so much food - huge portions!! All of it was delicious and spicy.
very authetic chinese food. The scallops are wondering and worth the price 6 euro. The pork with garlic sauce was very special. the shrimps are firm and fresh. Sichuan noodle soup was way spicier than we thought. Precautions for anyone who orders sichuan! Pretty high cost, the shrimp dish was 27 euro, pork was 10 -15 euro but worths every bite. the atmosphere of the restaurant is clean and elegent, hard to find any chinese restaurant has the same vibe. I don’t recommend the dessert. it was over price and not special.
I came here with my niece and we waited an incredibly long time for our food (we hadn't even ordered mains, just appetisers). After waiting 45 minutes for a side of white rice, we cancelled our order, paid and left. We were also overcharged - for what should have been about 22 euro ended up being over 30. There were drunk, loud people leaving and entering a side door in the corner, which was surprising given how fancy the place seemed. I won't return.
