Superb example of WW1 defensive thinking, augmented today by people in uniform. Astounded to see that the original canon are maintained and can be moved as smoothly as they day they were made. Even the munitions hoists worker.

It's all right. Nothing to write home about. If you have relatives living inside the fortress and you're going to visit the, then by all means take a look at it. The Tour guid(ess) was excellent and fluently made the tour bilingual in IT/EN. Spoiler: in the end Mussolini dies. So one more star for the fort, that was indirectly resposible for it. At least according to the relatives, that live inside the fortress.
A really well preserved military fort, from WW1 and WW2, A great insight into the lives of the troops who were stationed there. The guided tour was brilliant, and the views from the top a spectacular
Well worth the visit. I really enjoyed the tour and views. They offered several different languages for the tour, which was a great bonus to for people.
Great place and worth a visit only open for weekend. Check timings. Very helpful people
