St Mary's Church (Welsh: Eglwys Fair) was an Anglican church in Cardiff, Wales, which stood at the south end of the current St. Mary's Street, from 1107 until 1620. After severe flood damage it was abandoned in 1701 and later replaced at a different location in 1843.
St Marys is a family church with a rich history. The congregation is very warm and welcoming and they have mass throughout the week and every Sunday at 11am. The younger members of my family enjoy Sunday school and look forward to going to church and participating in the mass.
What a beautiful church.
St Mary's Church is a beautiful old building, originally the church stood in St Mary's Street and after severe flood damage was replaced at the location it is today, Romanesque Revival Architecture. I was Christened in this church 71 years ago and attended the St Mary's Church School.
