I cannot express more clearly how wonderful this home was in looking after my mother. All of the staff showed care and feelings to her ensuring she was comfortable, clean and helped her feel less confused by taking time to talk to her. I am aware as to how difficult it is for care homes, in particularly homes who care for dementia symptoms. When you first enter the home I found that I was always welcomed with a smile. When you enter the main room, if you are looking at homes for your loved ones, you may be put off by the fact that everyone is sitting around the room rather than in small groups but this enables the staff to see all residents and make sure that if anyone is getting agitated they can immediately help. It also means that the residents always have people to look at and chat to, they are not just put into a room and forgotten. This also means that when you visit your relative that you can see how the staff are with all residents. The home has made some major improvements especially having the two toilets close at hand. My mother's room was spacious and welcoming, a very comfortable bed for her which was so much better than her previous home. My mother died in the home a few weeks ago but I will never forget how well she was looked after by the two night staff, they constantly popped in to ensure that she was comfortable and that her mouth was fresh even though they were very busy with other residents. This helped me knowing that she was being cared for right up to the end. My thanks goes out to them all.

I was so worried about my nan going into a care home as we hear via social media such bad practice. BUT this care home proved us wrong. The staff, the care and overall really was spot on for her and us as a family. My nan very sadly passed away but from the moment she moved there and spent a while there her face beamed with comfort. Thankyou all for everything - keep up the fab work
