Nice paveljon in the forests between Eindhoven and Best a nice place to sit and relax or rest after a healthy walk in the forest. And have a cup of hot coco or coffee or tea or to have lunch there are vegetarian items on the menu and for people with special dietary requirements.
Joe Eugene Mann - the great man this place is named after has to be the inspiration for Captain America. He sacrificed his life so that others may live, here in Best, 18-september 1944. There is a big sitting area outside. It's quite pleasant on warm days. Dogs are allowed while leashed. They have water bowls ready for dogs too. They serve really good pies. Try the \oma\ gebak. It's rhubarb pie. Every bite tastes like Christmas day. If you sit outside, you'll regularly see and hear airplanes taking off from Eindhoven airport. The staff are very friendly and helpful! Please take the time to visit after a walk in Joe Mann's forest.
