Customer for nearly 5 years while living in different cities within Germany but also in other countries all across Europe. Always great availability and friendly service. I can only recommend picking Sparkasse especially as a first bank account for pupils and students!

If a customer support worker of a bank has to tell me about the Amazon-credit card in order to keep me staying with their bank that only gives out a credit card for 40 per year to a 20years-customer it's just unbelievably POOR service by that bank. DKB, Ing, barclays etc all give out credit cards for free. No clue why Berliner Sparkasse is still lightyears behind in terms of credit card service. Big thumbs down from a longtime customer! Go to any other bank for a credit card!

Horrible bank, thieves really. My money never came out of an ATM 4 months ago and just now they tell me I won't get my money back, after trying all the process again because they would not take my request seriously. Beware of this bank, specially for internationals, they never reply to my messages now, ignoring my requests for document in order to take legal action. Be careful!

Super unfriendly, pressured me into various things and then refuse to discuss about for example over 10% interest rates on overdraft. Oh, and maybe you should be concentrating on educating your staff instead of building these tacky hi-tec look on your bank.
