At Qurin Diagnostics we bring together oncology-, nanotechnological- and product development expertise to develop revolutionary biomedical diagnostics using biochips. With cancer detection in urine as our primary focus, the nanotechnology platform is broadly applicable in the biological and biomedical field. Qurin was founded in 2017 on the basis of the outcomes of a Dutch collaborative research program of the University of Twente and the VUmc Cancer Center Amsterdam. The program, - an initiative of professors Bob Pinedo and Albert van den Berg -, studied biomarker signatures in urine using cutting-edge nanotechnolgy for early cancer diagnostics. To accelerate this unique development, Qurin Diagnostics has been set-up as a network organization with strong financial backing from both private and public sources. Qurin initiates and invests in international partnerships between academic and industrial parties bringing together key players and components, while improving and expanding the capabilities and applications of its innovative technology. ’
