Great place to see how people in Friesland lived in the beginning of 1900 and a bit later. Friendly people and at the end a nice restaurant to have lunch and a drink. I recommend the \speurtocht\ if you have young kids, my daughter really enjoyed searching for all the little gnomes hidden throughout the village. We visited during high season in juli and this place was really quiet, we did not see many other visitors.

Lovely little museum Village with all the old crafts and ways of living with a simple and really pleasant restaurant. A morning well spent, great for kids.
With a handfull of citizens it's one of the most charming very tiny old villages in the north of Holland !
Beautiful, if you are near by you have to visit. There 4 5 visiting buildings and u can see how they lived 100 years ago
Great place to get an insight in the harsh but pittoreske life of Frisian farmers in the 18/19th century. Much better than expected, and an ideal place to go with Children.
